Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your access to and use of Kahlo, including the web app, chat workspace, model comparison tools, councils, projects, attachments, bring-your-own-key features, and related services.

If you use Kahlo on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. In that case, "you" means both you and the organization you represent.

Kahlo lets you work with multiple AI models from one workspace. You can send prompts, compare responses, run multi-model councils, upload supported files, save project context, and route requests through connected model providers.

The service will evolve. We may add, change, limit, or remove models and features as providers, product needs, security requirements, or plan limits change.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Kahlo. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

If you invite other people into a workspace, you are responsible for managing their access and making sure shared content is appropriate for that workspace.

Use Kahlo lawfully and responsibly. You may not use the service to harm others, interfere with the service, or bypass the limits and safeguards associated with your account or plan.

• Do not upload or generate content that violates the law or infringes someone else's rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Kahlo or connected systems.
• Do not use Kahlo to create malware, phishing, fraud, impersonation, targeted abuse, or other harmful activity.
• Do not resell, share, or expose account access, API keys, or workspace data except as allowed by the product.

Paid plans, usage limits, included credits, renewal periods, and any overage charges are shown at purchase or inside the product. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide for the plan you select.

You can cancel a paid plan through the product or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals, while access to paid features may continue until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise in the product.

You keep ownership of the prompts, files, messages, project materials, workspace context, and other content you submit to Kahlo. You grant Kahlo a limited permission to host, process, transmit, display, and store that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to upload content to Kahlo and to share it with any workspace members or connected providers you choose.

Kahlo routes prompts, files, conversation context, and related metadata to the AI model providers needed to complete your requests. The provider used depends on the model you select, your workspace settings, and whether you use Kahlo-managed access or your own provider API key.

If you bring your own API key, Kahlo uses it to send requests to the corresponding provider on your behalf. Keep your provider accounts and API keys in good standing, and do not add keys you are not authorized to use.

Kahlo owns the service, including its software, interface, design, brand, documentation, and related technology. These Terms do not give you ownership of Kahlo or permission to use Kahlo branding except as allowed by us in writing.

Feedback is welcome. If you send suggestions, ideas, or bug reports, you allow us to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Kahlo and the data entrusted to it. You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account, workspace, or API keys have been compromised.

You may stop using Kahlo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these Terms, creates security or operational risk, fails to pay required fees, or uses the service in a way that could harm Kahlo, users, providers, or third parties.

After termination, we may retain limited records where needed for security, billing, compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

We may update these Terms as Kahlo changes. When updates are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you through the product or another appropriate channel. Continued use of Kahlo after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes.
